A quick note about how we’re protecting this mutual aid project: We try to keep this mutual aid project as accessible and trust based as we can. At the same time, we’ve had a few instances of people trying to take advantage of Trans Meals, including some transphobic and dishonest submissions. Because of that we’re continuing to find better ways to review applications and verify requests while still keeping the process centered around community care and direct mutual aid.
